This unit standard will demonstrate the ability to conduct investigations into workplace incidents. The specific Root Cause Analysis Methodology is described and presented to the investigators to be able to identify the root cause of incidents.
Learners will be given all tools required to successfully conduct incident investigations. On completion of this course, learners will successfully be able to identify and explain the legal and organisational-specific requirements that regulates the reporting and investigation of workplace incidents. Learners will be able to complete the required reports and process any physical evidence which may have been collected.
